Kitchen

• The cooking platform ideally faces east; the cook faces east while cooking.
• Keep the stove (fire) and sink (water) apart — avoid placing them adjacent.
• The south-east corner is the classic spot for the kitchen.

Master bedroom

• The south-west is considered the most grounding location for the master bedroom.
• Sleep with your head towards the south or east.
• Avoid mirrors directly facing the bed.

Living & entrance

• A north or east-facing entrance is considered auspicious and bright.
• Keep the centre of the home (brahmasthan) open and uncluttered.
